Happy Holidays - 2017 ReCap
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to the ARI family! We have much to celebrate and to be thankful for for the past year of 2017.
The spring and summer of 2017 was dominated by one client, and saw us surveying home improvement stores all across Ontario, Quebec, Eastern Canada and New England. As a result, ARI hired a new agent in Montréal in June. In addition, we had plenty of vendor-shops, restaurants, and retail renovation projects.
In the summer we invested in a relatively new technology: the 360° camera. These cameras allow us to offer much-improved photography for our as-built surveys, and to compliment our retail services with Google Streetview photography and publishing. Since then we've racked up thousands of photos, and over a million views, of resorts, wineries, shops, and a cathedral... from Waterloo to St. John's, NFLD. Expect much more in 2018!
In October we launched another new service: Translation! At the behest of a client who needed assistance with project management in the field, we started translation through tele-conferencing, web-conferencing, onsite meetings, and document creation. At the moment we offer this service in French, but stay tuned!
To end the year, we embarked on our largest challenge yet: a 700,000 sq.ft. BOMA survey in Vancouver. Two agents were onsite for a few weeks, ensuring a timely and accurate product to facilitate area analysis.
